JULIE GEISSLER YOGA
Weekly Yoga Classes Designed With You in Mind
It's always a challenge to create accessible classes that meet a wide range of needs, and sometimes we discover that the simple and subtle practices are often the more advanced and challenging to master! In all my classes you can expect to experience simple yoga practices that combine movement and stillness, with breathing practices and guided meditation.
If your goal is to develop and improve functional movement; or sustain / regain mobility in the joints; or notice where there are imbalances in your body and gently work to restore your alignment... then my classes may be just what you need and I look forward to meeting you on the mat some day soon.

Stability & Flow Yoga Class
This class elements of 'earth and water' with its blend of long-held postures and shorter flowing sequences. Longer holds encourage your to explore your edge, enhancing stability and flexibility, while the flow state allows you to release and let go of built up tension.
This class is ideal for:
-
Anyone seeking a mid-week 'reboot'.
-
Those wants to build more stability, flexibility and alignment in their lives / practice.
-
Those who want to build their yoga practice.
What to expect:
-
A class that allows you to centre yourself and restore energy; enabling you to finish your week with a greater sense of inner flow.
Of the two classes, 'Breath & Movement' (Tuesday) is more gentle, though still demanding in the sense that it engages and gently 'tunes' the whole body. In contrast the Thursday class, 'Stability & Flow' encompasses more active flows, including sun salutation sequences, along with standing postures. In both classes, you will be guided to take conscious control of the breath and learn how to use this as a 'container' for the movement practices. Most importantly, you will be encouraged to find the edge of your practice, and that will look different for each individual.
